Shooting in Yoga Studio
On November 2, a gunman entered a hot yoga studio in Tallahassee. The man shot seven people, two of whom died, before turning the gun on himself. With the suspect dead, police have yet to uncover a motive. (CNN)

Girl Scouts Hit and Run
On November 3, a 21-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle in Wisconsin, striking a group of girl scouts who were cleaning trash off the side of the road. Three girls and a mother were killed, and another girl injured. The passenger and driver were allegedly huffing computer cleaner at the time. (CNN)

Shooting at a California Bar
On November 7, a bar in Thousand Oaks became the scene of a deadly shooting. The suspect, Ian Long, entered the bar and began firing, killing 12 people before turning the gun on himself. Long was a Marine and investigators remained puzzled as to what his motive for the shooting was. Some of those who died were survivors of deadly shooting in Las Vegas last year. (CNN)

US to Restrict E-Cig Flavors
On November 8, the FDA announced that in an attempt to curb the teenage “vaping epidemic,” it will issue a ban on the sale of flavors in convenience stores and gas stations. The FDA also plans to add stricter age-verifications. (Reuters)

Florida Orders a Recount
On November 10, Florida announced that it would hold recounts for both the Senate and governor results from Tuesday’s election. Results are due on Thursday, November 15. (Reuters)

Pentagon Fails Audit
On November 15, the Pentagon failed its first ever audit. The discrepancies could take years to resolve. (Reuters)

Florida Recount: Gillum Concedes
On November 16, Democrat Andrew Gillum conceded to his rival after the recount for Florida governor, Many other recounts are still in progress. (BBC)

Shooting at Chicago’s Mercy Hospital
On November 19, a gunman opened fire at Mercy Hospital in Chicago. The shooting left a police officer, a doctor, and a pharmacy resident dead, as well as the shooter. The shooting was a result of a domestic incident. (CNN)

Alabama Mall Shooting: Police Kill Wrong Man
On November 22, a shooter descended on an Alabama mall. Two people were wounded and the suspected shooter was shot and killed by officers. On November 25, it was revealed that the man killed, Emantic Fitzgerald Bradford Jr., was not the shooter. The shooter remains at large. (CNN)

Alabama Mall Suspect In Custody
On November 29, officials announced that they have an individual in custody who is suspected to be the shooter in the Alabama mall on Black Friday. The suspect, Erron Brown, is currently being interviewed. (Reuters) )
